Freedom Poem by Colin Ian Jeffery

Freedom

Rating: 5.0

In chains they cry for freedom
Bloody, beaten, enslaved
Roaring against oppression.

Repressed peoples
In city squares, spirits unbroken
Crying out against tyranny.

Lands invaded, people slaughtered
In terror families flee from homelands
Hunted by ruthless enemy without mercy.

Democracy will bring oppressors down
Breaking chains and tyranny
Giving back human right to be free.
