Many theories are advanced for freedom
But in true spirit it is practiced seldom
At every turn you find some strings
In real sense it only adds restriction or brings

You can not freely air your grievance
You can not get what has been granted at once
Everywhere you find some obstacles or hurdles
The common man suffers and faces trouble

The position is same like bird in the cage
Many constitutions of worlds have just remained on the page
They speak of golden principles but of no use
Most of the clauses are merely to confuse

What can be the purpose in putting bird in cage?
Provide all food of liking but prison for whole age!
It is good to be in free air than in the limited circle
Life has no meaning for freedom even gained after great struggle

"We may eat grass but develop nuclear bomb"
Z.A Bhutto may be happily smiling from his tomb
It was strong resolve to be in race with world
For attaining parity and remain in the fold

Political system has no value if lacks freedom
Freedom of taking decision with counsel and wisdom
It has something to do with fate of countrymen
Sad occasion if that can not be offered as freedom of heaven

We never realize what can be life in captivity?
How long can it be considered as good quality?
"Prison and confinement even if voluntary is curse"
That is enjoyed forcefully with remorse

Ask any man in prison with fair opinion
Provide him with all the facilities for even union
His soul will never feel at home behind wall
Freedom and free air is the ultimate call
