Friendly Eyes Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

Friendly Eyes

Friendly eyes are very hard to find
In this treacherous realm,
Still I wander everywhere like a thirsty traveller
To discover the amiable eyes and quench my thirst.
But all my efforts prove futile,
As all eyes are unfriendly and unpleasant,
Towards the end of the day all of a sudden I vaguely see the pleasant eyes in a lonely corner,
Being very excited I run there but soon realize those are in disguise
To hunt the innocent creatures,
Then I flee and flee from that ominous sphere and never return.
