Friends For Life Poem by Chris Embrick

Friends For Life

Friendship's built on love and trust
We cherish friends both near and far
And those who gather little rust
Know the best just who we are

Other's of your friendship boast
Are friends for a convenient time
They leave you when you need them most
In hardship seldom stay behind

When on a friend's love you must depend
When reaching out's a scarifice
No matter what life has to send
True friend's will be there all your life.

So very true, Chris. Actually one can test friendship in times of hardship. Loved the third stanza. The true essence of friendship. A profound piece of work well crafted.10++++
