Friendship And Halos Poem by Holly Jamestone

Friendship And Halos

Friends are angels watching out
For broken wings of friends
Mending cracks, subduing fear
Until a crisis ends

Friends embrace us lovingly
And keep us in their thoughts
Replacing any waning courage
And reconnecting dots

Friends fly underneath us
As they parachute our falls
Wrapping cloaks of inner strength
Around our fear-filled walls

Friends are truly gems in life
Whose halos light our way
While reassurance calms our doubts
And keeps all pain at bay

Friends look far beyond fatigue
And any scars we're bearing
Peering deep into our hearts and
Lining them with caring

Friends don't see our facial lines
They love us all the same
They wipe away our tearstained cheeks
And play no judgment game

Friends are angels by our side
Through calm or stormy skies
Never losing sight of us
The sparkle in our eyes
