Frightened Poem by Hannah Davies

F eeling so blue
And not knowing what to do
R unning scared
My heart is teared.
I ncapable of stopping it
I'm sinking into a bottomless pit.
G etting as far away as I can
I don't ever again want to come face to face with that man.
H iding and joping I won't be found
Holding my breath so as not to make a sound.
T rying to piece my life back together
At times I wish I could disappear forever.
E very word and threat they said
Continues to circle around in my head.
N obody willing to help protect
I am the girl people would rather forget.
E verywhere that I have to go
I'm petrified in case they decide to show.
D angerous situations I am faced with
I have got nothing left to give.
