As I look back on my life again
It’s been 65 years to be exact
So many things have happened
It’s very hard now to keep track
I wonder how I found the time
Or the energy to keep up the pace
Like connecting dots upon a map
Difficult now to even trace
Friends, so many though the years
And places that I’ve lived
Sometimes I feel zapped out
Not much left for me to give
But I know I’ll keep moving on
To the next chapter, it’s true
I know that I’ll meet many folks
Hey, perhaps I’ll meet you too!
Aw.... this is a lovely reflective (and perfectly rhythmic) piece. t x
