From Thy Navel Poem by Govind Ramakrishnan

From Thy Navel

Rating: 3.9

The cobalt
Waters
Of the Caribbean
Pale
In splendor
To my
Blue lord of Vrindavan

Do the artists
Who portray
Your turquoise complexion
Know
You adorn
The infinite sky
As your garment?

The shimmering stars
That bejewel
The night skies
Originate
From thy navel
