Frozen In Time Poem by Phillip Nine Mafunga

Frozen in time n' space
No desire to die; no desire to survive either
The task's all that exists
There're times that make no sense
When things are completely out of control
Where senses are stilled n' numbed
Leaving one feeling like they're the only one alive on earth
Till the drumming in the jungle eases
However, when time unfreezes, many things begin to make sense
Only then does one realize that they've to bomb their way through space
To win the race
