i agree with Douglas Scotney! well, i HOPE i'm a funny american! i've read recently that, by some people, it was thought (and still is i'm sure) that more lives would be saved by dropping 'nuclear weapons' on Japan, rather than making a longer, more traditional, war necessary. i wouldn't doubt it. i agree the tweet is stupid and uncalled for! ! ! Please don’t tell me that the u.s. wouldn’t have used similar weapons on Germany because Germans are/were “white” people, though I’m also sure that many Americans would have felt that way then, and perhaps some would today (probably) . - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Bri’s FORM FOR COMMENTING ON POEMS: [“n/a” = not applicable to this poem] ==================================== Poem Comment Form As my shoulder I did abuse, here is what may amuse: A poem-comment “form”; I know it ain’t the norm.
