Your attempt to excuse your actions,
With vacant explanations...
Has aided in the speeding,
Of my forward steps.

And yes...
I can hear your voice.
But further in the distance,
Your voice gets.

I no longer prepare myself,
To have the patience you expect.
Since much of that has already been given.
And I have none left that affords your disrespect.

Further in the distance,
Your voice gets.

Further in the distance,

Gets.
