Gem Of My Toys Poem by v.m.saraswathy munuswamy

Gem Of My Toys

Rating: 5.0

Grandpa
You were my best toy
We were the beauty and the beast
I was
A proud traveller
On your back
Piggy ride,
Sitting on your nape
Holding your
Grey ropes
Reached great heights
We hang around
Like vagabonds
Exploring
Street after street
You taught me
Morals and values
You were
My precious toy
But fate
Taught me
Deligently the reality
Time snatched my
Gem of toys
But I speak
To you in silence
Hug you in in my dreams
Your memory
Is evergreen still
