Get Started Poem by Tirupathi Chandrupatla

Get Started

Rating: 5.0

Well begun is half done
The age old saying goes
It's clear to one and all
Not begun is nothing done.

Body at rest stays at rest
The law of inertia states
It applies to work as well
Mind tends to put off things.

Rough sketch in a scrapbook
Leads to a great painting
A few words of an outline
Lead to a story or a novel.

A sound foundation leads
To a structure for a building
Words learnt one at a time
Build up knowledge over time.

Begin your task the moment
You think of it without fail
What's started will be finished
Before you you know it did.

It's important for the students especially to take note. Small steps lead to great things. Well said!

As they say, procrastination is the thief of all time! Good poem Tirupathi, do it now, don't put things off.
