I somehow often end up thinking of all those times
When I'd call you my best friend without even blinking.
Those days are long gone
And you sure have moved on,
It's a pity you couldn't have stayed longer
For u did make me feel a lot stronger,
I noticed while you were slipping away
I tried to stop you but you went on with your play,
You got new friends
And I guessed that you didn't need me anymore
But then I realised that it was me who needed you more,
You were there when none else was
Which is why I feel sorry about this loss,
I'd try holding on to you really hard
Although you would just reflect ur scantest disregard,
They say that people change
In your case only ur feelings for me are out of range,
I now have best friends that won't leave my side no matter what
However I wish that you too were one among the lot.
