Giant Among Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Giant Among

You are tall and vas in size
No one can seize
Your stature
As kind object of nature

You are like head of the family
Blessed by rain God and almighty
For giving cool shade and refuge
Your size is so huge

How many birds reside?
No fight or nothing to decide
Cuckoo airs the melody
The early morning remains cool and steady

Leaves make their presence known
When wind is heavily blown
Many trees are uprooted
But Banyan is firmly rooted

The king and giant among trees
The shade is offered free
Very kind to human and animals
It has wide arm to greet on stranger’s arrival
