Gift To Walk Poem by Ima Ryma

Gift To Walk

The young boy missing legs and feet,
Missing all that such limbs could do
That could help to make life complete.
Perhaps a dream that could come true,
If medical technology,
That can provide replacement limb,
Would somehow by powers that be,
Be such a gift given to him.
It is a fate of circumstance
That this young boy finds he must live.
But fate can provide him a chance
If and when there's a will to give.

Tomorrow, hopefully will walk.
Today, draws legs and feet in chalk.
