Gilded Bars(A Convicted President) Poem by Mario, Lucien, Rene Odekerken

Gilded Bars(A Convicted President)

Once a king of towers tall,
golden halls and voices call.
Now the gavel's heavy sound,
echoes through the hollow ground.

History writes with iron hands,
not in deals, nor shifting sands.
A name once loud, now speaks in shame,
power fades, but guilt remains.
