Giving Up Poem by Tracey Owens

You have given up so many times in life.
When times got hard you always back out.
You never wanted to face the truth of the situation.
Now you have been given your test.
That test was you being diagonsed with cancer.
It suprised you and at first you couldn't believe it.
Now your cancer is reality and your giving up.
Your giving up when life is hanging in the balance.
When the doctor gave you a choice, you refused it.
You are giving up when so many people are
praying for your health.
Your giving up the chance to fight for your life.
