Translation of ghazal
Began to glitter that enchanting face
And eyes bent down to bow before

Beloved took me wrong therein
Love was never my weakness

Turned out easy to lose love
Though difficult before to get

Looked at the dance of flowers in joy
Reminded the waving of someone in intoxication

I watch the blood of my heart
How colouful is the flourish of sweetheart

They awaken the passions of my heart
The unique style of sleeping beauty

The eyes full of desires have their own effect
How long will remain the veil of modesty

It is not at all as lovable as my infatuation
The charm of beauty is not parallel to that

It is my fresh hobby to promenade of garden
Seeing that beloved burns in the fire of excitement

Now my senses are in a fix to see
Frenzy of somebody in love with sensibility

चमक उट्ठा रुख-ए-ज़ेबा किसी का,
नज़र करने लगी सजदा किसी का.

वो समझा मुझको मजबूर-ए-मोहब्बत,
गलत निकला ये अंदाजा किसी का.

उसे खोना बहोत आसान निकला
बहोत दुश्वार था पाना किसी का

गुलों का रक्स देखा याद आया,
हमें मस्ती में लहराना किसी का.

मै अपने खून-ए-दिल को देखता हूँ,
बहुत रंगीन है जलवा किसी का.

तमन्नायें जगा देता है दिल की,
अदाए ख़ास से सोना किसी का.

निगाहे शौक़ में अपना असर है,
रहेगा कब तलक पर्दा किसी का.

हमारे इश्क से हो खूबसूरत,
कहाँ का हुस्न है ऐसा किसी का..

नया है शौक़ मेरा सैरे-गुलशन,
ये मंज़र देख कर जलना किसी का.

'सुहैल' अब अक्ल है हैरान अपनी,
बतर्ज़े होश है सौदा किसी का.

रुख-ए-ज़ेबा= सुन्दर चेहरा, गुलों का रक्स= फूलों का नृत्य, अदाए ख़ास= विशेष मुद्रा, निगाहे शौक़= प्रेम भरी नज़रें, सैर-ए-गुलशन= बाग़ की सैर करना, मंज़र= दृश्य, बतर्ज़े होश= चेतना के साथ, सौदा= दीवानगी....
