Some days are filled with gloom,
while others are filled with gold.
The gloom drops your soul a peg or two
and the gold rises you up with energies renewed.

A heart filled with gloom
saddens the fiery spirit,
now the heart filled with gold
makes the world shine bright.

Every life is tinged with both,
only if gloom takes hold
you will see nothingness
within the confines of your world.

If the gold takes the upper hand,
you will positively glow
with every moment as bright
as the morning rising sun.
