Of all the ways I could've turned out
You never understood what I was about

You made my life complicated Now your color has faded

You didn't even know
Watch me as I glow
Now you're in my shadow
My name is written in gold

I laugh when you forget my name
I don't need you to feel my past pain
I don't have to live life in the fast lane
I've traded it for unforeseen fame

I'm already fast and furious
Why are you suddenly so curious
I'm becoming famous
I've became notorious

Shatterproof
Unbreakable
Bulletproof
Untouchable

I'm like the undead
Doesn't matter what you said
Had them thinking I was already dead
I'm the walking dead instead

I'm not a part of your rage
No longer locked in the back of a cage
Like a Phoenix I rose from the ashes
Glitter burned fire on my lashes

You don't even know
I made it on my own
Walk in my shadow
See my name in gold
Watch me as I glow

From the ashes
Glitter on my lashes
Golden within the masses
Look at me as I walk pass
