God Always Shows Up

God always shows up in His Word
For He's its Chief instructor
He uses it to our benefit by His Spirit
To understand the procedure
To find out about our waywardness
How afar off we are from Him
Then lead us to our homecoming path
When our prodigalness begins

The way of the Cross leads home
It has left a crimson path
Christ's blood shed for our sin
God gave the Best that He had
A sacrificial offering
Behold the Lamb of God
Glory resides in that One
Who died there in our stead

Sin will always lead to the Cross
For it has sins resolution
The Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour
We know...was for death our solution
He who made the heart of man
Knew of its evil tendencies
Found a way to deliver our soul's
Became sin for us if you please

Don't miss out on the blessings
That God has given through His Son
He honored it by the way of the Word
Hallelujah for that One
The Word becoming flesh for me
Behold the risen Lord
Steadfast still with His saving grace
To change a repentant heart!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
