God, Give Me Back My…
God,
Give me back my joy;
Give me back my good friends;
Give me back my good old days,
When I was just a boy!
God,
Give me back my peace;
Give me back my will-pow’r;
Give me back my piety,
When I had no disease!
God,
Give me back my heart;
Give me back my faith / hope;
Give me back my love of Thee,
Which I had from the start!

You probably can't have all of that - but the last stanza sounds eminently do-able!
in the end there can be only peace the heart always close to home and the final shelter of love a fine poem
