God Is A God Of Emotion

God is a God of emotion
He knows of our deepest pain
He's relentless in the alleviating of such
He wishes us to be born again
There's a Holy Spirit waiting
To bring you to the Lord
It's all laid out in the Bible
Remember...it's God's Holy Word

What an emotion that God must have felt
In the beginning when He planned Salvation
Knowing it would be the death of His Son
To bring us to Righteousness Station
Wounded for our transgressions
Bruised for our iniquities
Yet never giving up on His way to His Cross
His Cross for you and for me

My Hallelujah is in that Saviour
Who gave of His life for me
To know that I was such a sinner
Yet in love He pursued relentlessly
To woo me unto Himself praise God
His grace was fully in action
Until my confession was verbally made
And sealed my faith's transaction

No other joy can ever compare
He came to live in me
And cleaned up all the mess inside
Praise God for Calvary
Tears of joy have left their mark
On this old sinner's face
When I rehearse my conversion day
And of God's amazing grace!

There nothing that can bring more satisfaction
Then a heart that's been redeemed
The things of this world become insignificant
When the Lord Jesus Christ you esteem
O the wonder of such love
Sinner give to it ear!
For whomsoever shall call upon the name of the Lord
Will meet His attendance there!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
