People look at you on the street, but you don't know why
You just turn around and give them a smile
You go on your way but their looks prevail
And you begin to feel your smile will fail
They look in your eyes with relief and astonishment
You see them look at this boy where a man is ment
You can't find the power in you to ask
So you just keep on walking on past
But you always feel so different from everyone else
And they feel aware about themselves
You don't see the power you hold within
And you don't see the importance you hold to Him
He watched you as you grew and granted you wishes
He treated your scars and rewarded your missions
He gave you the girl you wanted who would love you so
But because of that I had to let you go
As long as your happy and someones watching over you
Then I guess I ca find it in myself to be happy too
Your smile is for me, it's a resemblance
Because I know you are God's remembrance
