God's Word Changes Lives

God's Word changes lives
It's a blessed historical fact
He uses all of His forgiven saints
To prove His love by their acts
O the measure of prayers of love
For even our enemies
Only God Himself bears witness too
How oft we are on our knees

Love is the highest motivation
That we have in our arsenal
For who but only forgiven saints
Have really a voice to tell
And there's a telling brother
Silence can't stop our praise
For Christ has arisen Hallelujah
It's why every gravesite will give Him praise

It's hard to keep a Good man down
And they haven't my friend
We have a three day Resurrection story
Praise God that will never end!
He is our life... Hallelujah!
For Christ now lives in me
I now live rejuvenated by His Spirit
Who's with me for eternity

Yes God's Word changes lives
I know that it changed mine too
And the expression of that good news
Just thrills me through and through
What is your highest joy
How deeply felt is God's love
Has it brought your heart to yearn for repentance
And a new relationship with God

Today can be your new beginning
Why not live to that end
Surrender your will to the will of God
Repent and find Christ as a Friend
Praises are awaiting your arrival
There's songs at the Throne of Grace
Seek you today the Lord Jesus Christ
And leave with a heart full of praise!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
