God Spoke... Poem by Dislocated Heart

Touched by an angel..
Today mind filled with thoughts of past and present.
I looked out and up...
God, Are you listening...

I always asked that.. and my answer came today..

He made sure I'd do the right thing..
But its in my hands to do so..
string it along or let what it may be go..

My heart tells me no..
my mind tells me.. its time..

Then onces again.. I'm bak to where I started..
alone, yet with someone..
scared.. yet she comforts..
sleepless.. and she brings joy..

yet, in my mind... theres something that just aint right..
and God was there to say so...
