God Take Me Home Poem by Kelsey Andrews

Do not mourn because God is ready to take me home,
Be grateful that by my family I was known.
For my days on earth are dwindling to a few,
Just be glad that God gave me the chance to know you.
Please wipe those tears from your eyes,
Because my pain will be gone you have no reason to cry.
Our memories, and our laughs, those are yours to keep,
It'll be just as if I fell asleep.
I may not have been famous or well known,
But God I am ready to come home.
