God Watches Us All Poem by norman hale

God Watches Us All

God watches as you labor through the day
And judges you as you lay a sleep
Judging if your only soul
Will be worth its Heavenly keep

He sends us Angels
To help our souls to mend
And some of us are fortunate
To get to call them friends

He sees all that we do
He hears all we have to say
And gives us a splended sunset
Just to finish up the day

He sends us songbirds
To help our hearts to sing
And He gives us blossoms
To show us that it is now spring

He is always right there
When ever your in doubt
Just pray in a whisper
There are never any reasons to shout

He'll walk beside you
Every step of the way
Listening very carefully
To all you have to say

Though you may not see Him
He is still right there
Walking along beside you
To carry the burdens you might bare

He will always be there
Through thick and through thin
And if you'll just let Him
He'll be your best of friends

Oh He's always right there watching
And knows everything you say or do
And will be the first to give a hand
If only, you would ask Him to

So the next time, you hear a noise
You just might not be alone
It might be God walking with you
Guiding you straight up to his throne
