God's Judgement In The Ukraine Poem by Gert Strydom

God's Judgement In The Ukraine

'They cried out in a loud voice,
'Holy and true Sovereign, how long will it be
before You judge and take revenge
on those living in the earth
who shed our blood? '' Revelation 6: 10

In Moscow the patriarch says something
that no one expects:
the man of the Russian orthodox church;
that Putin, who godless do You despise,
act for You my Lord,
against the sin of others,

that the Russian soldiers
are in a struggle against sin
and I wonder if patriarch Kirill
do really know You,
if he does miss:
Your love and great mercy,
will say anything
to help the Russians win?

My thoughts go to where You come to Abraham,
how hospitable he received You
and where You are in a conversation with him
over Sodom and Gomorrah,
where their lives hanged in the balance,

where You did save the three:
Lot and his two daughters,
how Jonah was too scared to go to Nineveh
but You did hear every sincere prayer
of each sinner:
when he wanted to see their total destruction.

Your judgement do not fall on the innocent,
You are the One that always provide deliverance,
You notice the Russians
go over their country's borders,
with war-crimes go into a sovereign country,

how patriarch Krill
do find the innocent people guilty
with the rest,
how he makes Putin Your own,
do talk about a schism,
when godless Putin
wants to force others into his rule,
where Putin now hates the entire world.

Psychotic Putin does do the will of Satan,
where You do notice
the blood of the innocent,
You know how Putin
does act against the Ukraine,
also that no man, child or woman
deserves such a death.

I remember how Annas and Chiapas
did find You guilty,
how You hanged innocent on a cross.
Everyone knows how godless
the government of Putin is,
now also that Kirill
wants the death of the innocent.

You say that nothing can overcome your love
and I ask You to act in the Ukraine.
I am astonished at religious leaders,
that does not care for You or other people:

the innocent blood keeps calling to You.
