God's Purposes For Israel Poem by Denis Martindale

Try as men might, with all their might, God stays fast to His plans,
He watches this world day and night, the whole world in His hands.

Discernment triggers now and then, until the scales fall down,
To open up the eyes of men, in every single town.

Until that holy time arrives, it's known what sinners do,
God helps, so Israel still survives, with mercies ever new.

His promises seem on the line, yet God knows what must be,
His promises have proved divine, consider prophecy.

The true Messiah waits His turn, when revelation grows,
God's purposes men will discern, yet when God only knows.
