PahaDioN pe khamoshi cHaaee hui hai
khaDay huay peD lagtay hain
bina saans liyay huay.
parinday jhaDioN main chup chaaap hain.
zara araam karo, tum bhi jaldi hi
khamosh ho jaao gay.

There is stillness
On the tops of the hills.
In the tops of the trees
you feel
Hardly a breath.
The little birds fall silent in the boughs.
Simply wait: soon
You too will be still.
