Instead of asking and looking on my search
I instead am going back to church,
It is where all my answers will be found
Indeed it is where I am soulfully bound.
I will listen to the preacher speak once again
To save my soul from both temptation and sin,
He'll give his service in the cafeteria, or maybe the gym
And then together, we might sing a dissonant hymn.
When I look at the parishioners in the room
I will see trust and love and friendship preparing to bloom,
There will be men, women and children all seeking God
The feelings of warmth and love will be awed.
Bibles will be opened to the preacher's every word
He'll speak them as though the first time ever heard,
He'll then end his service with a thankful glorified prayer;
And God will be there.

The faithfully faithful deny all other religions. Bigots and harbingers of wars over the centuries. To have anything to do with a church means a hopeful fool. Relying on myths for rewards and punishments. Well I ask you.

Every service should be started and ended with a serving prayer. A great opportunity always shines with fortune. Going to Church and offering prayer is a nice practice. This is an excellent poem beautifully penned.
