Going Solo - Lincoln Park Zoo Poem by Ima Ryma

Going Solo - Lincoln Park Zoo

This lion cub's getting used to
Being solo where I am at
Here at home in Lincoln Park Zoo,
All 'round the outside habitat.
My Mom and Dad and Aunties be
Letting me more do my own thing.
I've lots of curiosity,
And so do lots of exploring.
Checking out all of the rocks is
Fun, whether public's far or near.
The public likes to mind my biz.
Hey public I am over here!

I'm Pilipili, hear me roar,
Young prince the public does adore.
