Goldfinch Poem by Ronald Strickland

Goldfinch

As I watch the dozens of American Goldfinch trash about among the white flowers on the branches of the dogwood tree chattering their song it is such beauty to see.

My thoughts are taken away from the thoughts of the the strange virus that has affected our world today.

The beauty in nature that surrounds us has so much meaning and brings forth the love that so many forsake.

Give forward and share natures beauty and the beauty of your soul.
As the finches gold display among the dogwood flowers that some believe holds the cross that gives us prayer when we need it most.
