Goldilocks Had A Baby Sister! Poem by Robert Edgar Burns

Goldilocks Had A Baby Sister!

Goldilocks had a baby sister
Who was a beautiful las you see
Men would come from miles around.
Just to court Goldie’s sis SilverKey!

Frosty the Snowman would
Smoke a yellow corn cob pipe.
Did he not know that pipes get hot
And can melt him from his insides?

Huckleberry Hound Dog,
And his old chum Yogi Bear,
Would make slingshots from elastic
Scissored off Boo Boo’s underwear!

You know about those Christmas shows
We all watched every single year.
Then our kids when they all came along
Watched them too till grand kids appeared!

Rocky and Bullwinkle,
Who can tell just what they’d do,
When Boris and Natasha,
On a sled came gliding through!

But the credit shall go to Santa Claus,
For it’s the only time kids will mind,
Then go off to bed quite willingly,
So their house Santa surely finds!
