Golfer Gus Poem by Ima Ryma

Golfer Gus

The PGA on its website
Announced another hole in one.
Gus Andreone drove it just right.
Ball into cup, an ace was done.
Gus golfs since 1939.
Eight holes in one his club is notched.
Golf overall is in decline,
But not if Gus the golfer's watched.
A golf ball teed up at his feet,
He swings and off to destiny,
Will be a record hard to beat,
Cuz Gus is one hundred and three.

Another hole in one to score,
When Gus turns one hundred and four.
