Good - Poem by Brandon Doore
*To those whose faith lacks the help of reason*
You read a book with a cross across the front,
Seeing only black and white in your life.
For despite your years a simple lie deceives you,
So continue to read without thinking, it doesn’t bother me.
I have found good is a creature of gray,
Because reasons guide his hands.
Unbeknownst to you there can be evil in any object,
For those crosses you hang can be false idols.
And those games you shun for sake of good,
Were reasoned with intentions of fun and understanding by one of your faith.
So continue to only see the acts without the reasons,
Because for every person you help blind, you envisioned another to the truth.
