Good For Nothing (Fun Poem 161) Poem by David Harris

Good For Nothing (Fun Poem 161)

I hate sleepless nights
waking up every couple of hours
never feeling refreshed in the morning.
It is caused whenever I have
an early bed night.
It is guaranteed I will
keep waking up all night.
I sleep better if I go to bed
after the midnight calls.
I get up in the morning
feeling refreshed to enjoy
the brand new day ahead.
My mind is more active
and ideas rattle away
at an alarming rate,
going to bed early
makes me sluggish in the morning
and feeling almost good for nothing.
