Good Morning Lord

Good morning Lord I thank You again
For waking me up today
And for Thy so great Salvation Lord
That You gave to me that day
When I repented of my sin
And came to know You Lord
The best thing to ever happen to me
Was when I believed Your Word

For it wasn't just the word of men
That led me to believe
But the word written by holy men
As from You the Spirit received
And recorded word for word
Just as the Spirit led
By this my soul was satisfied
And my spirit fed

The profitability of it all
I received with joy
Doctrine, reproof, correction in righteousness
Became my precious alloy
The riches in Christ my new found wealth
All because of Calvary
No greater love has ever been known
Than the love of God for me

So good morning Lord I praise You again
As I begin my day
Lead me to some needy soul
To share Thy Word with today
I know Your love has surrounded me
So I surrender all
And help me Lord to do Thy will
Before these eyes see nightfall!
