Good Somehow Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Good Somehow

Good somehow

I am world's best
Even if people detest
Pass derogatory remarks
But I don't respond to their bark

I am dark complexioned
With cheeks no red
Eyes like deer
But no one shall come near

I love myself and people
But they always create troubles
They want to crush me and throw
This I shall never allow

I have my own philosophy
And believe in an almighty
With full faith and dignity
I consider it womanish beauty

I am really me
Totally frank and free
Even though mirror discourages
I shall disregard it and write new pages

Someone will choose
And poise for company
I shall say not now
Till I know it is good somehow

Good Somehow
