তীর ও গান
*তীর ও গান*
হেনরি ডব্লু লংফেলো
ভাষান্তর: গৌতম চক্রবর্তী
বাতাসে ছুঁড়েছি তীর যেই
মাটিতে পড়ল গিয়ে
জানি না তো কই।
তীরটা ছুটেছে এত জোরে
পলকে হারিয়ে গেছে
দেখার বাহিরে।
বাতাসে ধরেছি তাই গান
মাটিতে হারিয়ে গেল
কোথায় সে তান।
নজর জোরালো কার, কে সে?
নিজেকে ভাসাতে পারে
গানের আশ্লেষে।
অনেক অনেক ক্ষণ পরে
তীরটা রয়েছে দেখি
গাছের ওপরে।
গানটা কোথায় গেল, কই?
দোসর রেখেছে মনে
ফিরে তো পাবই?
