khiDki ke peecHay
dolan kursi pe baithi hui hai daadi
akeli hai, thakki hui hai
kisi ko uski parvah nahin hai
fir bhi, sheshay k peecHay baithi
dekh rehi hai apne paDpotroN ko
apni cHoti paDpotri ko.
kitni dukh bhari hai Anka daadi!
ab siraf purana furniture hi
us ka waffa daar hai.

she was left alone tired
unwanted
still behind the glass she sees
her sons grandchildren
