Grassland's Expanse Poem by james watkin

Grassland's Expanse

Stood, longest, before
But thought-straying
A grassland's expanse.
At peace, swaying.

To that contentment
Sunned look of cheer
This soul, corralled, drawn
Its crows at jeer?
