Gravy Tasters Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Gravy Tasters

A house safe and protected.
From whatever it is,
Outside to defend against.
Yet inside minds are infected.
With kept to keep,
Selective thoughts.
Bought to sell and told as sold.

With an added taste of gravy,
To a mental digression.
With an added taste of gravy,
Smothered to cover up truth.
Inside and outside of the house.
To choose selective thoughts too.
This is what so many folks do.
