Grendel Poem by Raj Dronamraju

Grendel

There's no use hiding from the monster of choice
You will be found and dragged out by your ankles

The overprotective mother stalks the playground
Not just confronting a child who bullied her child but also those who are using equipment her son would like to use such as swings etc.
Holds one boy up by his hair while her son punches him

There's no use hiding from the monster of choice
Your neighbors or someone close to you will betray you

The situation appeared resolved
But they came back with additional complaints and with reinforcements to argue on their side
It is not just to wear down the decision reached impartiality and fairly

The revenge of free will in the absence of conscious choice
Too much noise in here and the kind of chaotic force this attracts
Not even your mother can help you now
