Growing Older Poem by Naomi Waters

Everyone ages
Everyone grows older
Some say 100 years is to short
Others say its to long
But in 100 years
People can change the world
They can either help the world
Or scar it forever
People age
Its just what we do
It makes us wiser
Age teaches us about things that have long since passed
But we remember
We age
Everyone knows that
12 years of childhood
And 7 years of being stuck in between child and adult
Then the rest of our lives is no longer
Spent learning
It is spent
Teaching
Helping
And exploring
Yes its only 100 years
There is so much to be done
But I think we'll be just fine
