Growing Up Grown - Poem by Dorsey Baker

Babies growing up
grown
Babies growing up
grown
Too much sugar
for a spoon
Too much sugar
for a spoon
Children of the world
now it seems
they have to be grown
way too soon
babies growing up grown
Little boy blue
grown as he can be
Sometimes I think
that he may be more
grown than me
Rain turn to sleet
and its slick in the street
Summer is gone
and winter has come
Babies growing up
grown!
