I felt your presence
Before I could register
My thoughts of you.
You held my hand
When my world
Was falling down.
Soft whispers were
Spoken In my ear,
Motivating me to
Keep moving forward when
I felt like I could no longer.
I was lifted up when
I stumbled through life.
When I was in pain,
Reasurrance went through
My mind and I knew you had
Been listening to my prayers.
You never let me fall nor
Let me believe I could no
Longer make it in this world.
I gathered my strengths and
Overpowered my weakness
With your steady guidance.
I knew I had a guardian angel
Watching over and protecting me.
