Do me a favor?

'What's that? '

Promise not to do me anymore favors.

'Why'?

When was the last time you did me a favor?

'I don't remember.'

That's why I want you to promise,
Not to make anymore promises...
You will do me a favor.

'What was I suppose to do for you? '

Call my boss this morning.
To tell him I was sick in bed with a fever.
Guess who I saw at the mall?
Asking me 'if' I plan to be sick,
For the rest of the week?

'I don't know.
